My practice primarily initiates with a labour-intensive process of forming a grid on wood. Repeatedly scoring and carving wooden panels vertically and horizontally, followed by scorching them with fire, and ultimately washing and drying them with water, this primitive and manual methodology becomes a practice intertwined with discipline and meditation. The tangible phenomena and objects derived from this process signify the infinite continuity of spatiotemporal dimensions, embodying the interconnectedness of all independent entities. Thus, the exploration of inevitable and recurrent actions becomes emblematic of my artistic practice.

My work engages with various problematic aspects of painting, including colour, structure, materials, and contemporary phenomena, deeply interwoven with universal themes in human existence. Acceptance of the inevitable phenomena stemming from the inherent vulnerability of human nature, resistance against ensuing ossification, and the repetition thereof manifest intuitively within a controlled composition, resulting in recursive structures. The spatial staging on the plane expressed through this process prompts contemplation on the structure of the painting, seeking to evoke spiritual and emotional resonance within both myself and the viewer.
